Server Details

Old School Vanilla was started on August 9, 2026, founded by JJ Ball. It began with the sole mission to provide a simple, high quality vanilla Minecraft experience, with only minor modifications as necessary to keep it fair and enjoyable.

The server is currently on Minecraft Java Edition version 26.2, running Paper server software. A list of relevant server plugins is provided below:

• Chunky: Chunks are pre-generated by the server, which means chunks load much faster and smoothly.
• CombatLog: To prevent combat logging, this plugin punishes players that leave mid-fight.
• DiscordSRV: The Minecraft chat and Discord chat are connected, and can communicate with each other in real time.
• GrimAC: The server employs a powerful anticheat to combat hackers and exploiters.
• AntiESP: This plugin prevents hackers from seeing players or entities behind walls.
• AntiXray: This plugin prevents hackers from seeing ores or bases behind walls.
• Voicechat: If you have the Voicechat mod installed, you can talk to other players using proximity chat.
• Votifier: The server gets discovered through Minecraft server lists, and you can vote to bump it up in these lists.
• WorldEdit: An administrative tool used to edit blocks if necessary.
• XaeroForceDisabler: Disables entity ESP provided by the Xaero's Minimap mod.
